Chemistry moves between different ways of thinking. A drawing makes an idea tangible. A calculation asks what the electrons are doing. A visualization makes the result something you can explore. The vibyverse brings tools for these different moments into one ecosystem.
Start with a structure
vibe-sketch is a 2D structure and reaction sketcher. Its testing version supports drawing and importing structures, generating 3D geometries, exporting publication graphics, and preparing inputs for vibe-qc and ORCA. Packaged desktop delivery and queue submission remain on its roadmap.
Ask a question, then give it compute
vibe-qc provides electronic-structure calculations for molecules and periodic solids through a Python interface and C++ core. Methods have different maturity levels; the developer documentation records their status and appropriate use.
When work needs another machine, vibe-queue can submit and track command-line jobs locally, over SSH, or through configured PBS and Slurm backends. It is a general-purpose queue, so it can run work beyond the vibe-qc engine.
Look closer
vibe-view opens QVF archives and supported chemistry files so you can explore structures and results. Browser, desktop, terminal, and Python interfaces let you choose the setting that fits your work.
These are independently developed tools, not a promise that every step is automated end to end. Their shared direction is a more connected way to work with chemistry, with QVF carrying data between the projects.
